Special Interest: He has a special interest in Root Canal Treatment, Wisdom Extractions and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Baljit graduated from India with Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1998. In 2001, he completed his Masters in Dental Surgery, a specialist training in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in India. He is a skilled practitioner and has more than 10 years of experience as a General Dentist and Endodontist (Root Canal Specialist) in India. In these ten years, he also worked as a part-time teacher in his specialty at different designations (lecturer/reader/professor) in several dental schools in India.

In 2009, Baljit moved to New Zealand to complete the Bridging course in Dentistry from the Dental School in Dunedin, Otago. He gained registration as a General Dentist in New Zealand in November 2011 and has worked here since 2012.

Baljit’s approach to the profession of dentistry is people-focused. He is a practitioner who values building long-standing professional relationships with his patients and focuses on their ongoing dental and oral health. So you can rest assured that you will be greeted by a friendly smile and a warm hand-shake when you walk in to meet him.

He is very passionate about his profession and his scope of work is extensive, which ensures that you receive the best advice with regards to your dental health. By designing treatment plans to suit individual needs, he is able to address a wide range of dental problems. Above all, his priority is to provide the most advanced dental care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

Baljit is also a keen learner and regularly attends professional development courses and conferences to keep himself up-to-date with the latest developments in the ever-evolving field of dentistry.

Outside of his work, Baljit likes to spend his time playing badminton and travelling to a various destination within and outside New Zealand. He is always up for a friendly conversation and enjoys the opportunity to help others.




Special Interest: He has a special interest in dentures, restoring implant crowns and bridges, and root canal treatment.

Ken graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1989. In 1997, he got his Diploma in General Dental Practice (Royal College of London), and then completed his MSc degree (King’s College London) in 2007. Ken worked in the Hong Kong Government Dental Department as a dentist from 1990 to 2003, and then in 2004, Ken moved with his wife Ann and daughter Lara to New Zealand, where he started practicing in various private/public dental clinics, before he set up his own dental clinic at Ormiston in 2009. Ken is now semi-retired and prefers to work less than 10 hours per week. Ken is very fluent in Chinese languages (Cantonese and Mandarin) and welcomes the huge Chinese community in Manukau and Franklin. Ken likes to go swimming at beaches, walking in parks and browsing the internet in his leisure time.



Oral Health Therapist

Nicole is originally from Zimbabwe having moved to Auckland in 2002. She graduated in 2011 with a bachelor of Health in Science in Oral Health.

She has worked over a range of practices in Auckland gaining experience spanning over 8 years.

She is passionate about preventative dentistry and working alongside her patients to enhance their knowledge of Oral disease processes and home care. Nicole enjoys learning new techniques and applying them in the surgery and likes to attend conferences to see what’s developing in the dental world.

Nicole is relaxed with a calming nature and tries to make every trip to the hygienist a pleasant visit.

When not in the surgery Nicole loves cooking, walks, the gym and the occasional horse ride!

Nikki profile


Practice Manager

Nikki has over 5 years of experience in the Dental industry and is currently our Practice Manager. Nikki is a studious person with her most recent achievement being a Diploma in Management.

She enjoys aiding patients to make their visit stress-free and unruffled. Her knowledge of dentistry in understanding patients’ perspectives comes handy at times as she herself was a dentist in India.

After hours Nikki enjoys quality time with her family, doing outdoor activities such as visiting local beaches and parks which her son enjoys very much.

Nikki is very creative and artistic and loves to paint and finds meditation very therapeutic.




Sonja immigrated to New Zealand from Swakopmund, Namibia in 2008 and joined Tooth Care Pukekohe in 2020 as Receptionist and Dental Assistant. She has worked in the dental field for many years on the North Shore of Auckland before relocating to Pukekohe.

As a qualified Dental Assistant as well as frontline receptionist, Sonja is familiar with dental procedures and thrives on interacting with patients, always taking into consideration their specific needs. She has great communication skills and is fluent in English, Afrikaans, and limited German. with the ability to work with people from diverse cultures.

In her spare time, Sonja enjoys drawing, sewing, gardening, and cooking for family and friends.



Dental Assistant

Samantha (or Sam as she is affectionately known) has had a little over two years of dental experience within the dental industry.
She took a break to focus on raising a family and is now more passionate than ever to further her knowledge in the dentistry field, this will include one day specialising in dental hygiene and teeth whitening.

Samantha is a people person and naturally caring, warm and welcoming. She focuses on attention to detail and keeps things well organised within the practise and also at her home.

In Samantha’s spare time she enjoys playing board games, completing escape rooms, and travelling with her family. Samantha is also a talented and creative person who enjoys a good DIY project.



Dental Assistant

Ann is a very experienced DA and receptionist for over 30 years and is also fluent in Chinese languages. In her leisure time, she likes doing gardening and cooking.
